The GFF x CIVIC ALIGN Consortium Launches Call for Proposals

October 6, 2026
This past Tuesday, October 6, the ALIGN (Advancing Local Innovations for Adolescent Health & Nutrition through Governance and Networks) Consortium, led by Action Against Hunger in partnership with the Emergency Nutrition Network and The Youth Café, officially launched its Call for Proposals.
During the launch event, consortium representatives introduced the GFF × CIVIC ALIGN Project, outlining its objectives, approach, and geographic scope, and provided guidance on the application process and key requirements for the Call for Proposals.
Through this funding opportunity, ALIGN aims to improve adolescents’ access to equitable health and nutrition services and outcomes by supporting civil society and youth-led organizations to expand proven community-based solutions, strengthen meaningful youth participation, and create pathways for effective innovations to be integrated into and scaled through national systems. The initiative will be implemented across 12 GFF partner countries in Africa (Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia Madagascar, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe) over an 18-month period.
