Tatiana Savva

General Deputy Director

Public Property Agency, Moldova

Tatiana Savva is the Deputy General Director of the Public Property Agency, based in Chisinau, Moldova.

An economist by training, with work experience in transparency and budgeting, good governance and public finance she is an expert on participatory budgeting and human rights based approaches.

Before taking up her current appointment, Tatiana was an economist and project coordinator for the independent think tank “Expert-Grup” where she monitored and published widely on matters of public budgetary transparency, procurement, and corruption, among others. She also organized the annual MACRO conference as a venue to discuss how the country’s economic, social and political conditions shape the economic path of the Republic of Moldova.

In her capacity as project coordinator, she oversaw the implementation of multiple projects by Expert Grup, one of which was in partnership with the GPSA and monitored delivery of education services to support the government with implementing a formal oversight system. She also provided technical assistance to CSOs advocating issues of social inclusion during the government’s budget drafting and approval period.

Tatiana serves as a member of the supervisory board of the Institute for Analysis and Advocacy, Ukraine.
