George Osei-Bimpeh
Mr George Osei-Bimpeh is a development practitioner and advocate. Under his leadership SEND-GHANA has implemented a number of social accountability projects to engender transparency and accountability in the budget process and the implementation of pro-poor government development interventions in Ghana. George has expertise and experience in the following: Budget Tracking and Advocacy; Social Policy Advocacy; Research and Programme Management; Institutional Capacity building; Performance Monitoring and Programme Development; Training and leading teams in the design and implementation of Social Accountability projects; Application of Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation framework for monitoring the implementation of pro-poor programmes; Capacity building and Facilitation abilities; Knowledge on CSOs community in Ghana and Africa; Coordinating activities in a multi-stakeholder environment with state and non-state actors in public policy making processes; Understanding of Rights-based Approach to development; Coordinating and implementing organizational assessments and Networking and Donor relationship management among others. Mr Osei-Bimpeh holds Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge (2006) and Bachelor’s Degree (2004) in Geography and Resources Development from the University of Ghana.
