Accountable Now

Rocio joined Accountable Now in January 2018 as Executive Director. Previously she worked on consultancy assignments on citizen participation, capacity building and impact evaluation in countries such as Kenya, Macedonia, Kazakhstan and Mexico for (amongst others) Open Society, MacArthur, Ford and Hewlett Foundations. Prior to that, she was Global Coordinator for the Global Movement for Budget Transparency, Accountability and Participation (BTAP), an organisation combining activists and organisations working on public finance and budget accountability, where she led member engagement strategy, coordinated advocacy strategy and built strategic partnerships with national and international organisations.
